Those who will enter the Garden
I want to share two very short ayaat (verses) from the Quran which someone shared with me today. They talk about those who will enter the Garden (Paradise), both a description of them and a snippet of some of their speech:
They will enter Gardens of Eden where they will be adorned with gold bracelets and pearls, and where their clothing will be of silk.
They will say,´Praise be to Allah who has removed all sadness from us. Truly our Lord is Ever-Forgiving, Ever-Thankful’
(Surah Fatir: verses 33- 34)
So the people of Paradise are those who have tasted huzn (sorrow) in the life of this world, as they will praise Allah for removing it from them in Paradise. Take comfort in this ayah when the temporary life of this dunya feels difficult and look forward to the promise of Allah in Al Akhirah (the Hereafter) which will never end.
In this month of Ramadhan when supplications are answered, we ask Allah to make us of those He admits into the Garden and removes all sorrows from. Ameen.
